Brilliant trip! Donald was our excellent guide for our trip to Sri Lanka. We connected with him immediately and benefited from his experience and knowledge of the country. Known by people all over Sri Lanka he provided us with what we felt was a very special experience taking us to his favourite haunts! Donald knows everywhere and everybody! In Sri Lanka! We were picked up at Colombo Airport by Donald very early in the morning and driven to the Sigiriya area to our first hotel. From then on it was an adventure every day as our itinerary for the next ten days took us to several parts of Sri Lanka with the vast majority of it being driven by Donald. One great aspect was the flexibility of our itinerary with Donald often suggesting small changes or arranging venues at the last minute. Another aspect was Donald’s knowledge of the places we visited and the love he had for his country.At his suggestion we had a very early start in Galle on the last day of our trip and managed to squeeze in a whistlestop tour of Colombo, even riding on a couple of buses which is a must do when in Sri Lanka.

Seemless Experience. Top Service I have never used a travel agency for my travel arrangements, but on insistence of a friend, I got in touch with Kanchana from Flyingro for my trip to SL. From the moment we landed until we boarded our flight back, every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making our journey seamless, exciting, and heartwarming.🏡 Stay in Kandy – Heavens Villa:Our family cottage was perfect – spacious and cozy with stunning views. The kids especially loved the bunk beds! The service and food were top-notch, with breakfast customized exactly to our tastes. It felt like home away from home.🐘 Pinnawala & En Route to Nuwara Eliya:We had a blast at the Elephant Orphanage watching the gentle giants bathe. On our way to Nuwara Eliya, we visited the Gems Museum and stopped at Bluefield Tea Factory – a truly unique experience! From tea plucking to touring the factory and tasting nine different varieties of tea, it was our first Tea Estate Safari and we loved every minute. Their hospitality and meals were excellent.🙏 Spiritual Highlights:We visited the Seetha Amman Temple and the 108 Shivling temples – both serene and spiritually uplifting. At the Seeth Agnipariksha Temple, the guide patiently explained everything in detail, and the emotional moment of hugging the idol was unforgettable.🌄 Ella – Hotel Oak Ray:The views were absolutely stunning, rooms were cozy, and the food was delicious — we felt completely relaxed.🎉 Bentota – Hotel Earls Reef:A beautiful beachfront hotel where we were surprised with a sweet note and birthday cake for our daughter! Such thoughtful hospitality. Our rooms were just 100 meters from the beach, and we loved waking up to ocean views.🚤 Madhu Ganga River Safari & Galle Fort:The river safari was full of surprises — from visiting islands to learning about cinnamon making, and even holding a baby crocodile! We explored Galle Fort in a tuk-tuk, which was a fun new experience. The Turtle Conservation Center gave us great insights into their rescue and recovery efforts.🌇 Colombo – Radisson Hotel:Our rooms on the 12th floor offered breathtaking views. And when we had to check out early, the staff kindly packed breakfast for us — a thoughtful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed.🏏 Special Moment at the Airport:Just before boarding, we met the Sri Lankan Women’s Cricket Team! They were so humble and kind, even taking a photo with us. Truly a cherry on top!🚗 Our Driver:A huge thanks to our Hindi-speaking driver who patiently took us everywhere with a smile. We had such fun chats during our drives!💐 Big Shoutout to Kanchana from FlyRingo:A massive THANK YOU to Kanchana, who ensured that every part of our journey was flawless. She was always available, addressing even the minute minute concerns with care and attention. Her personal involvement and responsiveness made us feel supported at all times. A fantastic week’s touring Donal has been an amazing guide on our ambitious short tour of some of Sri Lanka’s highlights. We headed straight to Sigiriya on arrival with a few days exploring a number of the sites. It was really quite incredible how much Donal was able to fit in each day there to make sure we got to see the main sites without it feeling too overwhelming or tiring. We went on to the Kandy area staying at Rosyth before a couple of days in Galle. Again all busy but well catered for with a mixed age group. Outside the set itinerary Donal went to great efforts to try and introduce us to the culture especially local food and cuisine. His knowledge is extensive answering all of our questions in detail and more. On top of that we greatly appreciated his relaxed approach, sense of humour and flexibility. Two weeks in Sri Lanka We had Donald as our tour guide for two glorious weeks in Sri Lanka and he was brilliant! Nothing was too much trouble and his knowledge of the island was exceptional. A beautiful adventure! Our experience in Sri Lanka was brilliant. We couldn’t be happier by the service from Donald, he took us to our excursions and new hotels around Sri Lanka and on the way stopped to show us local cuisine and at the local markets to try new fruits and other traditional dishes. Donald went out of his way to help, including arranging for a lost teddy bear to be transported halfway across Sri Lanka!Donald also arranged a surprise stop by his house and meet his lovely family and to enjoy an absolutely delicious meal there! He took time understanding what we wanted when we visited Sri Lanka and answered all our questions expertly. Definitely not the last visit to Sri Lanka We loved Sri Lanka. Our experience was so much better for having Donald as our driver and guide for three weeks. Donald definitely enhanced our impression of this beautiful country - stopping to buy us traditional foods along the way so we could try and experience as much as possible. He even gave us a tour around Colombo on way back to the airport which hadn’t been part of our itinerary but was unmissable. Sri Lanka offers beautiful scenery, beautiful experiences and fantastic food but the lovely genuine people made it unforgettable. We will be back and we will use Donald’s services again as we were lucky to have him. Wouldn’t use anyone else!
